Huge fire breaks out at fuel depot in Industrial Area
Fire fighters are battling a huge inferno at a fuel depot near the Alliance Garments Industries, spreading to Alliance Garments Industries in Industrial Area, Nairobi.
Eye witnesses say no casualties have been reported so far.
The fire started at around 10am when the fuel tanks caught fire and started exploding.
“I heard a loud blast and when I came out of my office the tanks were on fire,” said an eyewitness.
Fire fighters from Nairobi County are battling the inferno but it is spreading furiously due to the fuel, added the eyewitness.
