Getting your Electricity bill via email (KPLC)
E-bill registration service allows you to receive automatic monthly bill updates via email, when your bill is processed. All you need is to register.
Registration pre-requisites:

- KPLC A/c number
- National ID
- An email address
The simple steps are:
- Open an email message
- Type R, followed by the first part of your account number followed by # then ID No. in the subject field e.g. R123456#1234565
- Send this to register@kplc.co.ke
How to Pay Electricity Bill (Postpaid) via MPesa Paybill number
- Select “Pay Bill” form Mpesa menu
- Go To PAYMENT SERVICES option
- Enter KPLC Business No. 888 888
- Enter Full KPLC A/c No. e.g. 123456-01
- Enter the amount you wish to pay (Between KES100 & 35,000)
- Enter Mpesa pin
- Confirm that all details are correct & Ok
- You will Receive a confirmation of the transaction via SMS
Please note that it takes 48 hours for KPLC to update your account.
