IT Support Engineer Job in Kenya
Our client in the finance industry is currently looking to hire an IT Support Engineer – Cisco Certified
Responsibilities
• Support the Email system running on Zimbra and Linux Server
• Support voice system with a local voice server running on Linux.
• Support telephone handsets on Cisco with some linked out of the country.
• Support the team leads in implementation and documentation of networking projects
• Installation and configuration of routers and switches for LAN & WAN – all Routers and Firewall are on Cisco
• Support on an Internal Proxy Server running on Clear OS
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field;
• Must be CISCO certified
• Must have 3-4 years relevant experience in support
• Experience on support for Cisco WAN connectivity , Local ISP, Connectivity within the country and out of the country.
• Technical aptitude in telecommunication infrastructure;
• Good analytical skills;
• Keen to details and excellent communication
