True Love magazine’s cover of March, 2015, this year, was graced NTV’s news anchor Victoria Rubadiri. I the issue, Victoria speaks about her personal life, life as a pastor’s kid, how she overcame the torment of being pregnant at an early age and how she is giving back to the society.
Popular NTV news anchor, Victoria Rubadiri has opened up on how falling pregnant at 18 made her desperate and left her thinking of procuring an abortion.
In an interview on the March edition of True Love magazine, Rubadiri talks of her devastation and desperation after discovering the unplanned pregnancy.
“It was a scary experience to find out I was pregnant, and the hardest part was to let my parents know since I never wanted them to go through that”
When she confessed to her father, he refused to let her do an abortion and her family came together to support her.
Victoria Rubadiri’s daughter is now ten years old.
With that said many would just think that Victoria just appeared for the photo shoot and that was it. But it takes more than just that.
Making a cover of a magazine takes a lot of work and commitment and the team works tirelessly to produce the best results.
Victoria Rubadiri got pregnant while studying journalism at Temple University in the United States where her family was living.
On her choice to speak about her abortion, she said:
“I have been severally invited to speak in churches and institutions where I always share my story to encourage a young person whose life has taken an unexpected turn.”
Victoria is now a living motivational speaker in a class of her own, leading a successful career in the media industry in Kenya, where she has been invited to to various colleges and universities.
