It has been confirmed to the media by police, that Neno Evangelism Centre pastor James Ng’ang’a was on the evening of Saturday November 21, 2015 involved in another road accident though, there were no casualties unlike the first accident the pastor was involved in along the same road near Limuru on July 26, 2015 that left Mercy Njeri, 38 dead while her husband Martin Mbugua Ndung’u survived with injuries.
The incident is reported to have occurred at Gitaru, along Nairobi – Nakuru highway at 6pm, according to Kiambu County Police Commander James Mugera.
On Saturday, Mugera described the accident as “non-fatal” and occurred when a matatu hit the pastor’s car – a BMW X6 – from the rear.
The BMW’s taillights and the headlights of the matatu were broken.
“Because it was a non-injury accident, Ng’ang’a agreed to pay the driver and both hugged and shook hands before leaving the scene. Police were not involved in the saga,” Mugera is quoted by Cyrus Ombati of The Standard.
Howewver, there were reported claims that the servant of God was DUI (driving while intoxicated)was switching lanes before the matatu that was headed in the same direction hit his car.
