The Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) has sparked an online buzz, after it
initiated a new strategy to market its brand on Social Media.
As schools re-opened from Monday this week, the bank decided to usher
in the back-to-school season by having its employees in all its
branches wear school uniform.
Images of staff across various KCB branches made rounds on social
media, with some of the employees pulling comical stunts imitating what
happens in schools.
Kenyans on Twitter joined the rare strategy under the hashgtag #KCBBackToSchool.
In some branches the staff wore uniforms resembling those of nearby schools.
This is seen as a scheme to lure more customers to pay school fees for their children at all their branches in the country.
