William Ruto, the Deputy President of Kenya, was noticeably absent at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport on Friday, July 24, 2015 when US President Barack Obama arrived. Whare was Ruto?
He didn’t miss the meet with Obama after Air Force One touched down for no reason. Ruto was in fact attending a dinner in honour of 2015 Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) delegates at the Kenyatta International Convention Center (KICC). Ruto spoke at the event as well as meeting with dignitaries and VIPs. He even had a chance to greet Raila Odinga the leader of CORD.
