Erotic Kiss Coca-cola Video Advert Banned in Kenya

Coca-Cola Company is now the most recent company to be axed by the Kenya’s Film Classification Board (KFCB) for an erotic kiss scene in the Television video advert. Coca-cola has been ordered to scrap the kissing scene in the  television advert being shown in Kenya. The is said “violated family values”.

In the video,  three-second scene show two strangers having a passionate embrace in a library.

Giving a statements on the ban, the head of the film board Ezekiel Mutua said Coca-Cola has agreed to release a new version of the commercial without the scene on..

KFCB previously asked YouTube to remove a music video about same-sex relationships on “moral grounds”.
In 2014, KFCB, film board hit the headlines for banning the US film The Wolf of Wall Street because of “extreme scenes of nudity, sex, debauchery, hedonism and cursing”.
