Modern Coast Offers Luxurious Ride to Mombasa

With Christmas festivities just a few days away, as is the norm, most Nairobians will be heading to Mombasa.
The booking of buses, shopping for sexy bikinis and of course, hotel reservations is already on.
This has prompted buses plying that route to pimp their services to woo customers. Oxygen, the Modern Coast Bus, is leading the way.
Imported from Sweden two months ago, Oxygen is fully automated. Talk of leading in technology, with buttons used for driving!
The drivers had to undergo special training to drive this bus.
Each seat is fitted with a small screen and passengers can either watch a movie, their favourite programmes or chill out listening to music.

“These are not television sets, but we have downloaded various softwares thus allowing passengers to choose what they want to watch, including children’s programmes,” Jervis Sundays City, Modern Coast Operations Manager said.
“Currently, we are charging Sh1,600. It is a wonderful experience to travel with us. You feel like you are on air,” he added.
