The EABL Foundation provides merit scholarship funding, project Funding, water project funding and environmental conservation in Kenya, Uganda & Tanzania.
EABL FOUNDATION  Scholarship courses in Strathmore include:

  • Bachelor of Business Information Technology
  • Bachelor of Commerce

East Africa Scholarship Application Eligibility Criteria:

  • The Selection for the EABL Scholarships will be made on the basis of outstanding academic results and extreme financial need.
  • Open to all East Africa students who sat their KCSE in recent years both in Public Universities and Strathmore University and attained a minimum overall grade of A- in their KCSE results with at least a minimum B grade in Mathematics and English.

EABL East Africa Scholarship Requirements:

  • Students wishing to apply for the EABL Scholarships will need to submit the following:
  • Copy of calling letter (for those called to Public Universities)
  • Copy of KCSE results
  • Copy of School Leaving Certificate
  • Completed Application Form
  • Applications to be accompanied by documentation showing financial neediness.

Since inception in 2001, the EABL Scholarship   Skills for Life programme has awarded over 200 university scholarships to bright and needy students across East Africa who in spite of excelling in their studies cannot afford university education. Successful scholars receive a complete university scholarship package inclusive of tuition, books, accommodation and a monthly stipend. In so doing these deserving students are able to build a better future not only for themselves but also for their communities.

The programme partners with both private and public universities in the region among them Strathmore University and University in Kenya, Makerere University in Uganda and Mzumbe Universities just to name a few.
