The administration arrived at the decision to close the university’s main campus at Kesses, students who had split themselves along the country’s two main coalitions Jubilee and CORD had started pelting each other with stones ahead of the elections scheduled July 17th, 2015.
The students were given an ultimatum until 5pm to vacate the university premises until further notice. However, some students detested the urge to vacate citing they had not received official communication from the administration.
