Kabete MP George Muchai has been shot dead at Kenyatta Avenue roundabout in Nairobi.
The MP and three others, including his driver and two bodyguards died during the 3am incident.
According to the St John Ambulance services who responded to a call of the incident, the unknown assailants were in a Toyota Probox with sealed number plates.
The attackers intercepted the MP’s car before opening fire and killing all the occupants of the MP’s vehicle.
Hon. Muchai’s Toyota 4 runner was sprayed with bullets by lone gunman wielding an AK47.
Muchai was dropping his driver and guard at GPO when his car was shot at.

His killing was witnesses by his daughter, nephew and other family members driving behind him in a different car.
The killers knocked his car, forcing driver to stop before lone gunman came out with AK47 and killed him and his guards.
Contingent of GSU and regular police have been deployed at scene of the shooting.
Police have cordoned off the area to facilitate investigations into the attack.
